Missions: Children Teens Adults Seniors
Our children's progams focus on developing strong Christian foundations through educational play. Some of our activities include kids dramas such as the Noah's Ark Play and the Christmas Play. The children's groups meet each Sunday morning during Sunday School and every Wednesday evening during prayer meeting.
First Baptist has one of the most active teen groups in the community with an average membership nearly 50 strong. Our teens strengthen their Christian values through programs such as our Summer Mission trip, Senior Citizen Care, and our Sunday night Contemporary worship service. Youth minister Robert Earl leads our teen programs.
Activities for First Baptist adults do not end with our Wednesday and Sunday worship services. We also offer a host of other spiritual enrichment programs for married, single, and divorced adults. Some of our activities include breakfast Bible studies, evening bible studies, and fellowship groups.
Seniors at First Baptist enjoy opportunites to fellowship and exercise their spiritual, physical, and mental health. We offer senior trips to places such the Grand Canyon, San Antonio, and Dallas as well as Christmas shopping trips to the malls. Three days a week we have a senior exercise class. And, every Tuesday and Thursday we have a lunch and Bible study led by Pastor Brown.
