>> POWERHOUSE STUDENT MINISTRY...
is the youth ministry of Living Praise Worship Center. If you're a student from grade 6 thru college, Powerhouse is for you!
Each Wednesday night at 7pm we come together for a time of fellowship and radical praise and worship with our own Powerhouse Praise Band. Students, you'll be encouraged and challenged on issues you face every day. Whether it's thru a game or activity, a hilarious skit, or a relevant message from God's Word, you'll discover Biblical patterns you can live your life by! We have an 'open door' policy: anyone grade 6 thru college age is invited to be a part of Powerhouse.
Directions to Powerhouse here. Email Pastor Bobby with a question, comment or prayer request: bandapaint@aol.com

>> SMALL GROUPS
S.A.L.T. stand for Students Actively Learning Together. Don't let the name fool you...sometimes we learn faith-based principles for how to handle what life throws at you, and sometimes we learn how to slide safely into 2nd base or perform an impressive cannonball off a diving board! SALT is a specialized small group for students grade 6 thru 11 that meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month (usually at 6:30pm). We do everything from softball and pool parties to group discussions and Greenville Grrrowl hockey games. We also enjoy Winter Retreats (weekend road trips to Gatlinburg, TN), white water rafting, concerts, and trips to Six Flags or Carowinds.
LIGHT is the name of our small group for high school seniors and college age students. L.I.G.H.T. stands for Living In God's Hope Together. The group is led by Steve & Sandy Carter, and meets at their home on Piedmont Park Road in Greenville or at various locations. Join us! Call 864-292-6856 for more info.
>> ENERGIZERS
Energizers is a ministry to middle school students (grade 6-8). They meet at about 11:15am during LPWC's morning worship service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays for a time of Bible study and prayer.
>> POWERHOUSE PRAISE BAND
The Powerhouse Praise Band, led by Pastor Bobby, is a live band that leads our students in worship each Wednesday night during Powerhouse. Do you sing or play a musical instrument? Do you have a desire to help lead others in worship? Please Pastor Bobby for more details on how you might be involved in the Powerhouse Praise Band.
>> THE POWERHOUSE ROOM
The Powerhouse Room is a once-legendary venue that has been home to a ton of awe-inspiring concerts over the years. MxPx, the 77s, Bride, Project86, Pillar, Disciple, Vigilantes of Love, the Waiting, All-Star United, Common Children, Grammatrain, Stavesacre, Plankeye, Superchic[k], Miss Angie, My Friend Stephanie, Fold Zandura, S.F.C., the Dynamic Twins, Rick Cua, even P.O.D (twice)! It was an intimate venue with a small club vibe, where you were able to get to know your favorite artists up close and personal! The stage was renovated in 2003 and is bigger and better than ever! Unfortunately, no new shows are planned at this time. Check back in the future for more information.

We offer different opportunities for students to get involved such as: SALT & LIGHT, Energizers, Blazer Skaters Bible Study, PowerSteps dance team, drama ministry, the Powerhouse Praise Band, as well as many other events and outreaches through the Powerhouse Room.
